This knife is was built for a military appreciation give-away sponsored by David at Great Lakes Waterjet, Inc..  His son is serving in the military and he decided to create a knife build off.  He cut the blanks for the blades using his waterjet and sent them to 20 makers across the country.  We could modify the blades however we wanted, grind bevels, and finish it out with handles.  This blade about 11" OAL of 3/16" ATS34 stainless steel.  It is finished with tan canvas micarta scales with screwed and glued construction.  The sheath was generously donated by Spec Ops in addition to the last ditch dog-tag knife from Alex Shunnarah.  This knife was presented to Sergeant Kennann on 5-13-2009 in appreciation for his service to our great country.  May all who serve make it home.
