I appreciate you looking at the work that I've done over the years. It has been a fun journey, and one that has been very rewarding.
From an early age, I have collected
and used knives on a daily basis. From that early enjoyment, I
developed a desire to craft my own knives. After years of thinking that
I knew knives, I began an education that showed me how little I know
and one that continues to this day. I strive to make the cleanest, most
finished knives that I can, but knives that will also hold up well to
daily use. I use steels such as CPM154 and W2 and various handle
materials that both look good and wear well.
As mentioned on the front page, I am a follower of Jesus Christ and find my identity in Him. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife and a son, and I have a full-time career teaching physical therapy at the DPT level and managing the clinical education portion of our curriculum. I am working on my terminal degree in physical therapy, and all of the above keep me quite busy and out of the shop most of the time.
In the near future, I hope to start a large project that will further keep me out of the shop since it will likely take OVER the shop. Since I was a kid, I've wanted to build a FFR Cobra Roadster, and I hope to start this project sometime in 2016. If I have a chance, I may chronicle the progress here or on another site.
Again, thank you for stopping by, and I hope you are blessed!
